InfernoRed Moscow (2022-2025)

The project was created in Moscow using infrared photography. This technology, associated with military optics and target detection systems, allows working with a spectrum of light invisible to the human eye.

On the surface, life in the capital continues as usual: people walk the streets, cafes are open, shop windows remain illuminated. Yet behind this façade, another dimension is felt — anxiety, fear, and tension, fueled by state propaganda and an atmosphere of distrust.

The color palette of the infrared images — red, blue, and white — corresponds to the official colors of Russia, turning each photograph into a field of tension between state pressure and the society’s underlying emotional state.

The title InfernoRed Moscow reflects the author’s personal experience. It signifies inner turmoil, frustration, and constant unease arising. This internal «inferno» has no visible form, but through the invisible spectrum of infrared photography, it becomes perceptible and finds visual expression.
